Parent Teacher Conference are just around the corner. Your child's teacher will be reaching out to you to schedule a conference. Please remember these will be very informative and kept to ten minutes in order to continue to protect all. We will be offering in person conferences for parents only. You may choose a Google Meet or phone call conference if you'd rather not meet in person. Please communicate this to your child's teacher. Conferences are Oct. 6th & 8th from 4-7:30 unless otherwise communicated by your child's teacher. We are trying to spread these out next week for safety. We are looking forward to meeting with you! Please help us with having 100% parent attendance through an in person, virtual or phone conference. Masks will be required at the conference as well as temperatures taken at the door. We will have a Parent Portal station set up at the front to assist parents/guardians in setting up their Parent Portal account. This account will allow you to see your child's report card online each nine weeks, as well as check attendance and give you access to update your contact information at any time. Thank you for all you do to help us support our students! ❤️🐉

Attention Athletes: We are eager to begin workouts as early as June 1st for those athletes who wish to participate. As we work to open facilities back up, it is important that we continue to follow safety protocols. Doing so will help keep our students and staff as safe as possible. During this reintegration period, we will follow the guidelines recommended by the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Association(OSSAA). The link to the guidelines is provided below this message. In addition, athletes are asked to bring their own face covering(mask, bandana, etc) and will be asked to wear them during certain activities, including weight training. Athletes should also provide their own water bottle as no personal equipment can be shared. Parents can be assured that we will be cleaning and disinfecting equipment and surfaces as well as have adequate supplies for handwashing. Social distancing will be practiced when we are able. If we all do our part, we can minimize the opportunity for exposure. Students will not be penalized if they elect an alternate workout they can perform away from district facilities. Coaches will provide an alternate workout upon request. If you have any questions, please contact Carol Testa(AD) at 442-0099 Ext. #504 or via email at testac@purcellps.org. Purcell Public School administration was alerted Sunday evening about threats made to students and staff on social media. We immediately notified the Purcell Police Department, which has been working diligently on the investigation. We canceled school on Monday to allow the police department the time they needed to conduct a thorough investigation and ensure the safety of our students and staff. We believe, due to the work between the Purcell Police Department and our administration, that we will be able to return to school on Tuesday, March 12th.
