The report shows that our students are demonstrating strong progress from one year to the next, indicating that our teaching and intervention strategies are effective in helping students advance academically. For the 2025 report, Purcell Public Schools earned 74% of the possible points for Academic Growth, significantly exceeding the state average of $56\%$.
High Attendance and Engagement: We are pleased to note our success in student engagement, evidenced by a Chronic Absenteeism score that shows 91.6% of our students were in good attendance. High attendance is crucial for student success, and this metric demonstrates the commitment of our families to ensuring their children are in the classroom and ready to learn.
Postsecondary Opportunities: Purcell Public Schools earned the maximum possible points (10/10) for Postsecondary Opportunities, reflecting our commitment to preparing all students for life after graduation, whether through college, career technology, or military service.
