We are encouraging parents to stay in their cars on Thursday at drop-off. We can't wait to see you soon!! Purcell Public Schools is pleased to provide our students and the community with a Summer Feeding Program again this year. This program is open to children ages 0-18 years of age. Summer Feeding will begin on Tuesday, May 17th and continue through June 28th. The meals will be in boxes and cover five days worth of meals. Drive through distribution at Purcell Elementary School (on the south side by the cafeteria) and will be from 7:00 am - 9 am and 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm. Drop off service will be available at the sites and times below: Hallmark Trailer Park (11:00 A.M.-11:20 A.M.) 500 Hallmark Blvd Purcell Mobile Home Park (11:25 A.M.-11:45 A.M.) 3000 S. 9th Southway Mobile Home Park (11:50 A.M.-12:10 P.M.) Play Streets - Healthy Fun in our Community! TSET Healthy Living Program serving McClain County will be providing Play Street days in our community.  Please save the dates and come join the fun!

Thank you so much to Melissa Young and Andrea Dowell and the rest of the Chickasaw Nation Eagle Adventure team for partnering with Purcell Elementary to bring diabetes prevention education to our 1st and 2nd graders through their Eagle Adventure program. It was a great program for our students and so easy to implement. We greatly enjoyed and appreciated our partnership this school year and look forward to continuing it in the future. We have been working hard in Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades on our sight words to finish out our year strong! These students have all learned new words to earn their 25, 50, 100, 250 and a few earned advanced sight word BRAG TAG! Way to go Dragons!! We are so proud of you!🐲❤️

Tomorrow is the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL and will wrap up the 2021-2022 school year! We are going to finish out with a FREE hat day tomorrow to celebrate so join us and wear your favorite hat for FREE! Remember tomorrow is parent picnic for Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grades! PreK had theirs last week at the park. Pack a simple lunch for you and your child and have lunch together. Such a fun time celebrating with our Freedom Fun Run Donation winners today! The bus ride was the best part and then pizza with the Principal! It was a bonus to get driven in style by Mrs. Jackie! 🚌Thank you all for contributing to our schools! 🐲❤️🍕

Thank you to the community of Purcell for your amazing support of our fundraiser! Our PTO did an amazing job managing this event and because of YOU, together with the Intermediate, we raised $9,714.94! If you forgot to send your envelope in, you may still turn this in at the office. This money will go to support the Elementary and Intermediate Schools next year. We are all winners for participating. I am sharing some pictures below of our top lap runners as well as donation winners.
