HS Football scrimmage tonight! 6 PM @ Conger Field! Come out and support the Dragons! #GoDragons

A massive thank you to our amazing teacher, Corryn Breidinger, for her hard work in securing these funds. 👏Corryn and high school science teacher Jack McNeely teach our aviation courses. Corryn also teaches science at the junior high.
This grant will provide our students with a flight simulator, wind tunnels, drones, and a drone course. As we enter the third year of our program, students are on track to earn their commercial drone licenses (FAA Part 107) before they graduate! 🚁This year will be our first students to obtain their licenses at the end of their junior year!
We're also excited to announce that we're now offering Aviation 1 to freshmen as a physical science credit.
This is a huge step in preparing our students for high-paying careers in a fast-growing field! For more information, please contact Principal Jason Sanders at sandersj@purcellps.org.

Even though we allow phones during lunch, we've noticed a great trend: many students are choosing to remain off their screens and engage with their friends. This is yet another positive result of the cell phone ban, and we love seeing these strong peer relationships develop!

These young men are true student leaders and outstanding citizens in our school community. We appreciate your support!
Come cheer on the Dragons at their home scrimmage this Friday night at Conger Field at 6:00 PM. They kick off the regular season on the road at Lindsay on September 5th.
Go Dragons!
