StuCo had a very successful tat the teacher fundraiser! Today the teachers had to wear their tats. I'm pretty sure the "winner" was Mr. Willing who had to rep 114 tattoos today! Thank you teachers for being such great sports! Anything for the kids 😉 🐉

🗺️🌎 Mapping It Out in Mrs. Rodgers 6th grade Social Studies! Our students have been exploring map projections and discovering how the size and shape of continents can look different on a flat map compared to a globe. Then, they put their learning—and creativity—to work by creating their own islands and designing maps to represent them! 🏝️✏️

What a fun and heart warming way to start our day! The Purcell Dragon football team, in conjunction with the HS Student Council, surprised some of their favorite teachers this morning. Each football player chose a teacher who had a positive impact on their life. They presented that teacher with their game jersey and the teachers proudly represented those students by wearing their jersey for the day. There were smiles and days made, definitely a few tears shed, and memories shared that will last a lifetime. Teachers don't always get to personally witness the difference they can make in a students' life. But this morning was proof that those relationships do matter. Teachers- you matter. And you do make a difference. Go Dragons! 🐉 Beat Lex!

🐉 Purcell TSA Takes on Nationals! 🇺🇸🏆 We are incredibly proud of our Purcell Technology Student Association (TSA) students who represented Purcell Public Schools at the TSA National Conference in Washington, D.C. this summer! These students worked hard, challenged themselves, and demonstrated creativity, innovation, and technical skills on a national stage. Several of our students earned top placements in their competitions. What an incredible experience and a tremendous achievement for our students and their advisors, Mrs. Breidinger and Mr. Wollenberg. Congratulations to all of our TSA participants and those who earned national recognition. There’s something special about seeing our local law enforcement officers showing up for our students—not just when there’s a problem, but simply to be present, build relationships, and be part of our school community. 💙 These officers share a meal together almost daily- today we were fortunate enough that they chose our school! Relationships. Partnership. Safety. Community. That’s how we help our Dragons RISE! 🔥🐉

Our FCCLA officers and Mrs. Wren kicked off the year at the LEAD conference in Duncan today. We can't wait to see what this club does this year!

Your Purcell Junior High Lady Dragons took on Tuttle tonight for some fast pitch softball action! While they didn't come up with the W they showed a lot of growth and grit on the diamond tonight! Keep up the great work ladies! Always proud of you! 🐉
