Congratulations to the Softball Team on taking 3rd Place in the Murray County Bash Tourney! The girls have worked hard and consistently improved throughout the year. If you haven’t been out to see them play, they have just 2 games left. They will play this coming Tuesday and Thursday at Home. Go Lady Dragons Finish Strong!

It was a successful Tuesday for our PJH athletes.
Softball had a big 13-9 WIN on the road against Vanoss. Kendra Anderson leading the day going 2-3 with 3 RBI’s and striking out 5 in the circle.
Our boys and girls cross country teams went to the Marlow Cross Country Meet. We had 7 boys and 2 girls medal in the top 25. Boys team got 2nd overall and Jayden Polk placed 2nd in the 8th & 9th division running a 5.47 mile!

Successful Tuesday! The first Battle of the Bridge of the year goes to our Purcell Lady Dragons with a WIN over Lexington 9-1!
The first Cross Country meet of the season and we had 5 JH runners place top 20! Great job athletes and coaches!
This week at PJH… our Lady Dragons softball team are continuing to show growth and improvement after a tough loss to Little Axe Monday night. Today we have our first Cross Country meet of the season, here in Purcell starting at 4:30. Also starting at 4:30, our Lady Dragons take the field against Lexington for our first Battle of the Bridge of the year. Good luck to all players and coaches!

Our very own Tara Anderson was the winner of a $1000 prize given during the Back to School Bash. Thank you Purcell Community, especially the Dental Lodge and Landmark Church for supporting our teachers and schools!

What a fantastic Teacher Appreciation Week! Thank you parents and community members for all of the treats and lunches this week. Thank you to the Assembly of God Church for the chick-fil-A yesterday. Our teachers and staff went home with their stomachs and hearts full!

What a fantastic Awards Assembly we had yesterday! Congratulations to all of the students who were recognized! A special congratulations to our overall grade level students of the year and our building teacher of the year! Thank you to all of the parents who were able to attend.




We had a wonderful spring concert last night performed by our beginning and 7th/8th grade bands! We appreciate the hard work of our students and band director Mr. Tuttle. Thank you parents for your support and attendance. This group of musicians have so much potential and we can’t wait to see what they become!


Due to the potential for severe weather, tonight's band concert has been postponed until tomorrow. Start time will be the same beginning with JH Band at 7:00 followed by the HS Band.
Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week! Parents, if you would like to help us celebrate our wonderful teachers, Kellie Cook has offered to help organize items for a week long celebration. Please contact Kellie or the JH office if you would like to contribute to the celebration.
