This innovative teacher apprentice program offers a meaningful pathway for staff to earn a bachelor's degree and become certified teachers through on-the-job training - while continuing to serve the communities they know and love! This initiative is sponsored by the OPSRC and partnership with Edwell.

Mrs. Munoz teaches Spanish I–IV at Purcell High School and brings 6 years of Spanish instruction alongside 11 years of experience in English as a Second Language. A former English Language Learner herself, she connects deeply with students, helping them build confidence while embracing language and culture.
A proud Purcell graduate, she continues to give back through her classroom and as the Spanish Club sponsor, creating opportunities for students to engage with their community in meaningful ways. Mrs. Munoz’s dedication, perseverance, and passion for students makes a lasting impact across our district. Mr. Fitzgerald brings 29 years of experience in Oklahoma public education, with an outstanding background in teaching, coaching, athletic administration, and school leadership. His career includes leadership roles at both the junior high and high school levels, along with 11 years of service as a district athletic director.
His experience, commitment to students, and passion for education will make him a tremendous addition to Purcell High School. We are excited for the leadership and support he will bring to our students, staff, and community.
