Happy Monday Morning! I know some of you have wondered about this.
We are always generous with water breaks when recess is hot, but when the heat index is 100 or higher we do not go out at all.
You will probably hear grumbling that "we missed recess" tonight. 😢 We will monitor the temp/heat index adjusting appropriately from one recess to the next.

First day of pre-k - Allen
We are having a great first day! Just few reminders for drop off and dismissal.
Building opens @ 7:30 am. Pre-k enters on west end and reports to classrooms. Everyone enters at main entrance and reports to the cafeteria if arriving before 7:45. After 7:45 K-2 may report directly to th e classrooms.
Pre-k dismisses on the west end at 2:30. Please remain in your vehicle and pull through the pickup line. The staff will load your student
K-2 dismisses at 2:55. It is strongly encouraged that you pull through in the pick up line. If you elect to walk up please wait outside the awning, keep the area clear and your student will be released to you by the teacher.
Please be patient as we work to establish safe procedures to get everyone in and out safely.
Super excited for the first day! Please remember that it takes a few days to get our groove on at drop off and dismissal. The traffic will seem overwhelming. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to get everyone in and out safely.
