Despite the snowy weather this morning, orders were dropped off and the popcorn popping has officially begun! ❄️🍿❤️🐉⛄️ Thank you so much to Pride Popcorn for once again partnering with PTO & PES for our Second Annual Pride Popcorn Fundraiser! We are beyond grateful for your support!🫶🏽 Last year, our students absolutely amazed us with how much they sold and you all filled orders with such incredible speed and care. You were truly POPPING that popcorn! 🤩🍿 We’re excited to team up again to support your business while you generously give back to our students and teachers. Partnerships like this make a real difference, and we appreciate you more than you know! ❤️ Our students have outdone themselves promoting the fundraiser! We will announce the class with the most sales soon! Participation was phenomenal and all students will receive a sweet surprise from PTO soon! Here’s to another fantastic fundraiser! 🎄❤️🍿 Parents when your class' orders have been delivered to the elementary we will notify you on SeeSaw that pick-up is ready at three front office. 🙌🏼🙌🏼

🎈 First Grade Parade Fun! 🎈 First grade had the best week learning about the history of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! To celebrate, we created our very own 1st Grade Thanksgiving Parade to share our thankfulness. 🧡🦃🎈 We are so proud of our first graders for working hard, learning, and showing gratitude! 🙌🧡🐲🫶🏽

Teachers from Noble were in the building today and yesterday! They shadowed the Reading Team and watched all of the awesome things happening during UFLI in our kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade classes. Come back soon, Noble!

National Injury Prevention Day on November 18th highlights injuries and violence as leading causes of death for ages 1 to 44. It raises awareness about preventable injuries and encourages communities to adopt safety education and strategies for safer environments. Let’s work together to reduce injury and violence risks! #InjuryPreventionDay

Thank you all so much for giving to our food drive last week! The food collected will go directly back to families in our schools for holiday meal baskets. We collected 750 items for our food drive this year. Our winning class with the most items collected of 122 items was Ms. Franco's kindergarten class, and they got to celebrate with a popsicle party! Again, your continued support of our school and our students is such a blessing. #dragonCARES

We want to express a sincere THANK YOU to all of our donors that will make it possible to provide 55 Purcell Schools families with a Thanksgiving food basket. Some donors gave food and some donated gift cards or gave a $$ donation. The support from our community along with school food drives has been such a blessing. We could not do it without all of you!

🇺🇸❤️ Today in PE, students learned all about what it means to be a Veteran and discovered the different branches of military service! Mrs. Wilkins planned fun, hands-on activities that helped students not only learn about Veterans but also work together as a team—just like our service members do! 💪🇺🇸 We are so proud of our Little Dragons for showing teamwork, respect, and appreciation for those who have served our country! ❤️🤍💙

Tomorrow is the last day for our food drive! Please help us support local families in our community for the holidays if you can. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. All non-perishable food items are accepted but the list below is food items that are in high demand. Again, the food collected goes directly back to families in our community through Thanksgiving and Operation Christmas food baskets. We are forever grateful for your generosity in helping others in need.

Thank you parents and grandparents for bringing students out last night for our Fall into Learning Night at PES! It was a fun time playing Literacy and Math games together and having some yummy treats. We had such a great time together! 🍁🐲❤️ Thank you and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

Also a big thank you to our Eagle Adventure characters with the Chickasaw Nation for making an appearance at our event. The kids loved getting to see them!
