On behalf of our PHS Botany class, gardening club, and teacher Ray Samford we would like to give a huge thanks to Char and Jeff Page and Heartland Customs for donating all of our needed soil for their new raised beds for vegetable gardens. We are excited for another hands on learning experience for our students!

Beginning with the class of 2023 students are required to participate in Service Learning and/or Work-Based Learning Activities at least once in grades 9-12. Amber Findley is our Internship Coordinator and is strengthening our program by building new partnerships. Please take a look at the flyer.

Balfour is our one-stop shop for graduation gear, class rings, letter jackets, etc. Cheryl Schoonover is our rep and she is extremely helpful. Check out her link below for all your relevant info to shop for these items. Although most of their products are online Cheryl is coming to the high school to accept orders/payments on 9/3 from 10:30am- 11:30am for cap and gowns, rings, and letter jackets.

PHS Dragons record another win tonight defeating Lexington 7-4. Thanks to the big crowd who came and supported both our high school and junior high teams. Varsity plays again vs. Chandler tomorrow at home. Come out and support!


Here is the 2021-2022 "Dragon Pride Marching Band". This group has been working hard all summer and we are excited about their year ahead. Great work band members, director David Hilger, and asst. director Bryson Tuttle.


Thanks to all who came and supported PHS football at the Red/White Scrimmage. Great job players and coaches. We are excited for the upcoming season. We appreciate all of the hard work by our parents!

Congratulations to our Fastpitch Softball team with an exciting 10-5 opening night win over Davis. Great work girls, Coach Jones, and Coach Cunnius! This team has a very bright future. Come out and watch them Friday night @ 6 for their next home game.

OSSAA Dead Week began yesterday and runs through July 4th. All Purcell Public School athletic facilities are closed until Monday, July 5th. We wish all students and families a happy 4th of July!
