Spanish Club showed their appreciation for local nurses this week delivering fuzzy socks and donuts! Purcell Hospital was so gracious and provided a tour of the new building, introducing them to nurses and staff. Great work Mayra Munoz and Spanish Club. #service learning #oklaed

ROAD (RELY ON A DRAGON) week this year is March 6th-9th at PHS. Every year PHS StuCo has a fundraising week to raise funds for an organization in need. This year we are donating to the Student Needs Fund and the Little Dragon Food Pantry. We are selling shirts, adult sizes only, xs to 4x. We had a rare tie in our Staff of the Month voting. We have two great representatives of Dragon Pride and they are both named Candy. Candy Tuck is our front desk and attendance secretary and the face of PHS. Candy Clark is our amazing sophomore English teacher. #oklaed

Yesterday was a great leadership opportunity for our students as they visited legislators at the State Capital for the 2023 FFA Day at the Capital.

We will have a Safety Meeting today at 3:30 PM in the high school library. We are combining this with my regular Parent's Advisory Council. This meeting is open to anyone who would like to attend. I will provide safety updates and answer any questions parents may have. Thanks!


Basketball regionals are here! Purcell will be hosting day one of regionals. Session 1 start at 1:30. Doors will open at 12:30. Session 2 starts at 6. Doors will open at 5. The Reimer Center will be emptied after Session 1. You can purchase $7 tickets through GoFan or $10 at the gate. Seperate tickets are required for each session. You can also watch via NFHS Network. Such a pleasure watching our FFA students at the Local Show this afternoon. Great work Purcell FFA, Erica Keen, and our amazing parents and supporters. FFA teaches our students important life skills and leadership. Bonus Auction is this Thurs @ 6PM at the PHS Ag Building.

Reminder, students will not be in school on Monday, February 20th. Monday is a scheduled, professional development day for staff. Classes will resume Tuesday, February 21st.


Our Spanish Club provided treats to our staff this week in appreciation for their hard work. Mayra Munoz leads our Spanish Club and this group does so much to promote positivity in our school and community through their service projects. Pictured is Zharia Elam & Payton Lawson.


After an intense application process PHS Junior Class President Katy Keith was selected to Youth Leadership Oklahoma. This is a week long camp where Katy will convene with other youth leaders across the state this summer. We are proud of Katy and her leadership in our school!
