The Heart of Oklahoma Tournament will be 1/19, 1/20, and 1/21. Come out and support your ranked Dragons Basketball Teams during the HOOT! All games will be streamed through NFHS Network.
This is Mental Health Awareness month at PHS. Our goal is to raise awareness and help all individuals build coping skills and seek help when needed. The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is an important resource. We will highlight further resources in Advisory this week!
PHS Staff Appreciation! Today we celebrated perfect staff attendance with a Sonic Drink of their choice for all staff. A big thanks to Brendan Bacon and Adam Edelman, two of our amazing office aides, for delivering to staff.
Congratulations Hayden Renfro, PHS Student of the Month, Hayden is the son of Crystal & Jeremy Renfro. He plays football and basketball and is on the Principal's Honor Roll. His favorite class is Wildlife Management with Erica Keen. He plans to attend OSU Tech for linemen school.
Congratulations Tobie Henderson, PHS Student of the Month for January. Tobie is the daughter of Joey and Aimee Henderson. Honors include Superintendent's Honor Roll. Her favorite class is Reading for Pleasure with Candy Clark. She plans to attend USAO to learn sign language.
January is School Board Appreciation Month. Please join us at the high school in expressing our gratitude for our Purcell Board of Education members. We are grateful for their service to the students and community.

PHS Homecoming Dance is coming! I know the students are super excited. And I know our chaperones can't wait!!!
A shout-out to our cheerleaders for making the long trip Saturday to support our basketball teams. They were awesome. Great job cheer and coach Grant Gish! Also a special thanks to our fans and parents for making the trip. We are so proud of our teams, coaches, and managers!

The Dragons are the Mother Road Classic Champions! Very tough 4A and 5A competition all weekend long. Way to go Dragons!
The Lady Dragons fought all the way, even through overtime, but fell just short against a very tough 5A ranked Coweta team. The Lady Dragons worked hard all weekend. We are proud of you girls!
