A great season means awards and recognitions for players. Congratulations to Seniors Nate Willis, Creed Smith, and Hayden Harp. Great season PHS Baseball!

PHS athletes hard @ work already this week. Spring football camp in full swing and over 140 young Dragons attend Boys and Girls little kids camp this week. A huge thanks to coaches across every sport who put in countless hours of work over the summer months. Go Dragons!

Foreign exchange students can add so much to high school culture but Xander Springael took it to a whole new level: Kicker in football, prom king, state track qualifier, and a memorable pep rally speech. What a year! So pleased to share some time with his parents today as they visited from Belgium: Thanks for sharing your son with us Veerle Leo and Marc Springael

We are grateful for our community partners and First United Bank is a great one. We appreciate their support of a our amazing 2022 PHS Graduates by contributing the Senior breakfast!

I was so honored to attend the 2022 Band Banquet honoring the State Champion PHS Band program. Thank you to all students and our amazing instructors David Hilger and Bryson Tuttle. A special thanks to our band boosters and parents who are such an important piece of the success.

Traditions and celebrating relationships. It's what this day is all about. Congratulations 2022 PHS graduates! And thank you PHS Custodian Marvin Fields and all PHS staff for making relationships with kids our top priority. Special Day.
Go Dragons!

Thank you to Justin Sims and the Purcell Memorial Assembly of God Church for graciously providing our Purcell High School staff lunch yesterday. We were so thankful for the surprise, especially on the Monday of a very busy and special graduation week. Love our Purcell community!

Graduation week! One of my favorites of many great traditions @ PHS is the KBLP Senior Salutes. Last week Cooper Hall, Jordan Ingram, Jimena Portillo, and Jackson Perkins represented PHS well! Thank you to our sponsors Amber Findley and Melissa Feroli for facilitating.

On behalf of our entire staff, thank you to Kerry Wilhoit and McClain Bank who provided Sonic Drinks and delicious cookies for our staff yesterday. We appreciate the strong community partnership and continued support of our schools!

Candy Tuck: Purcell Public Schools District Support Personnel of the Year. Kind, Compassionate, Cheerful, Fun, Caring, Dedicated, Face of the school. They all describe Candy. As a principal I'm most grateful for Candy because it's hard for people to stay mad while waiting for a meeting, after spending a few minutes with Candy!! She is the best!

Thank you parents and community members who showed their appreciation for PHS teachers and staff this week. Too many to thank here without leaving someone out! We are grateful for your positive support. Special thanks to Corey Nimsey who cooked the amazing brisket for us!

Congratulations PHS's own Samantha Schafer. Her team won the gold medal at the recent Special Olympics State Competition. We are so proud of you Sam!
