Our Lady Dragons Basketball fought hard but lost to top-10 4A Bethany today in the CCS tourney. They will play again tomorrow @ 10AM. The Dragon boys lost in a thriller to # 7 4A Bethany 42-40. We just missed a last second shot to win. The boys will play tomorrow at 2:30 .

Congratulations Kagan Davis and Zicorrie Davis for being selected Students of the Month by the PHS Faculty. Kagan is the daughter of Brandy Harris, Zack Harris and Randy Davis. She trains and races barrel horse and her favorite races are the futurities. She is a member of National Honor Society and her favorite class/teacher is English with Ms. Findley. She pans to continue to train futurity horses and sell equine insurance.
Zicorrie is the son of Ricky and Tammy Beasley. He is a member of the football, powerlifting, and track teams. He is a 2X player of the week in football and a 2020 State Powerlifter. His favorite class is Tech-Aide. He plans to attend college and join the Air Force.

Coty Sessions and Nate Willis were honored last evening as PHS Athletes of the Month, sponsored by Ryan Russ State Farm Insurance Agency. Coty and Nate are both highly successful in the classroom as well as on the courts and playing fields.

Sorry! Forgot to post the athletic/activity schedule this week. One additional event: Project Elf is happening this week. This effort raises money for the McClain County foster care to help provide gifts for kids in foster care. Thanks to Candy McCurdy for leading the effort.

Another 4-0 night for PHS Basketball. JV Girls and Boys were both victorious and Lady Dragons Varsity defeated Pauls Valley 50-39 and Dragons Varsity won 47-40. All 4 teams move to 2-0 on the season. Great job players and coaches.




Ray Samford's Botany class are spreading seeds to create a managed monarch butterfly garden on our school grounds. This is a great hands-on learning activity for students as well as helping attract and maintain natural pollinators.

Krysta Matthews Leadership Class conducted Mock Job Interviews this week, built resumes, and conducted interview preps. I'm beyond excited about the real-world skills our kids are learning in this course. We are committed to providing all students access to these "soft-skills"
