
This month is Healthy Heart Month. The focus of the month is to remind you of ways to keep your heart healthy. Next week, we will have dress up days that are focused on ways to keep your heart healthy. We look forward to seeing staff and students dressed up next week!

Ms. Matthews took the SR Class officers to the REC leadership summit. REC gave away 4 $250 and 1 $500 scholarship. Adam Edelman received the $500 scholarship! Good job Adam and the other officers; Mercer Martin, KK Eck, Luke Edelman, Avery Wren, and Collin Columbus. #phsstuco





These are two special individuals who help so many people everyday. HIgh School counselors are critical to the success and wellness of students. I'm grateful to have two of the best. Thank you Melissa Feroli and Sara Nichols. We recognized both today with a staff luncheon.

A big thanks for the contributions of Healthcorp and Parker Davidson. Healthcorp promotes school awareness on issues involving health & wellness. Parker comes to us from the west coast and had his first up close encounter with Oklahoma cattle today courtesy of Purcell FFA!


We are very fortunate to have both Melissa Feroli and Sara Nichols serving our students at PHS. Both are assets to not only our students but our staff as well. Their are true advocates for kids and are committed to supporting EVERY student in our school. Thanks Mel and Sara!

We are highlighting this month the accomplishments of several Black Oklahomans in the education field. Ada Lois Sipuel Fisher helped pave the way for national desegregation when she became the first Black student admitted to the OU College of Law. Read more about her amazing story:

Congratulations to 3 PHS band member for being selected to SWOBDA Honor Band! Special recognition to Seniors Allison Schlotthauer and Zoey Leatherman for earning 6 year medals. Sophomore Abbygail King also was selected. We are proud of our talented students!



We are proud of our students this week during our 2 days of Virtual Learning. Our attendance rate was over 94%. However I was reminded Friday when we returned, that virtual learning will never replace the in-school relationships teachers build with students. Thank you PHS Staff!
