PHS Academic Team off to a great start. Not surprising considering their history of success! They welcome a new coach this year as Jasmine Quinonez leads the team. They picked up a couple of wins last week and are in action again this Thursday @ Maysville. Schedule copied below.

PHS Softball defeats Bethel tonight 8-0. They move to 13-7 on the season with their 11th win in 12 games. They play @ Little Axe tomorrow night @ 5. Also glad to report we were NOT penalized for Hannah's "horns down" signal!

It wasn't the result we were hoping for Friday but we are extremely proud of our football team, coaches, managers, band, and cheerleaders for all their hard work. A special thanks to our cheer squad for organizing our Pep Rally! On to Lexington this Friday night.

Thank you Senator Jessica Garvin for visiting PHS today and joining our Pep Rally. We appreciate her strong support of our schools. Senator Garvin is pictured with STUCO President Mercer Martin and PHS teachers Cole Sharp and Greg Dillard.



Thanks to Purcell Intermediate and Purcell Elementary for welcoming our PHS football players and cheer this morning. They enjoyed greeting the students. We have a PEP Rally led by our cheer team today @ 1:55 in front of the high school. Parents/ fans are welcome.

PHS Stem students are in the design process for their catapult project. Students will have a final project of a PVC catapult that will launch cornhole bags to try and score. Paul Wollenberg and our STEM program continue to do exciting work at both the JH and HS.





Congratulations KK Eck! She was selected by our faculty as Student of the Month. KK is the daughter of Jeff and Kelly Eck and plays softball and basketball. She is active in STUCO, Spanish Club, and FCA, and chairs the Principal's Student Advisory Council. She plans to attend OU.
