Our Intermediate Dragons competed in a school wide Read Bowl 📚 over the past few weeks and today we recognized our CHAMPIONS! Conference winners 🏆were Mrs. Williams's 3rd Grade Class reading 1,301, 605 words, Mrs. Piazza's 4th Grade Class with 1,237,551 words, and Mrs. Perigo's 5th Grade Class with an astonishing 2,504,122 words‼️Congratulations!🎉🙌🏻We are so proud of all our Dragon Readers!!!🐉📚

This week in PE, we geared up for Super Bowl LVIII with lots of football games such as Perfect Pass Relay, Boom City, and Jackpot! Purcell Public Schools is a partner with the US Department of Education and is able to provide FREE COVID-19 test kits to our families and staff members. The kits are given out to adults 18 years and over. These tests can be self-administered at home. If you need a Covid test kit, please contact us at 405-442-0099; we will have a kit waiting for you at 919 1/2 N. 9th Ave. Please call ahead to make sure that we have a kit available.

Our fifth grade students created holiday fitness stations in PE! They came up with the procedures for each activity, demonstrated how to do it, and then rotated through each station. The 3rd and 4th graders also enjoyed the holiday fun!

The 4th Grade Christmas Concert was a wonderful success!!!🌲🎶🎼🎵❤️ Thank you to everyone who came to support these kids who have worked so hard the past few weeks to learn the lyrics of several of our favorite holiday classics! We have to give a HUGE shoutout to Ms. Gardner, our music teacher, for all her hard work in making each performance top notch! It was the perfect way to get our community in the holiday spirit! Great job 4th Grade Dragons! We are so proud of you! 🌲❤️🎶🎼🎉🎄
