It was a great night for Dragon basketball! Our 7th grade boys won 41-17 and 8th grade won in a nail biter 30-28 over Marlow. With just 3 games left, if you haven't seen these guys play, get out and watch them. They have worked hard and improved all season. Good job and congratulations players and coaches.

Coach Steve Clary and the Purcell Junior High Archery team shot their way to a fantastic third place finish at the Lexington Tournament this past Saturday!
Our Purcell Boys were on target with 5 archers placing in the top 20:
- Hayes Anderson secured a stellar 6th place!
- Xander Schutza took 7th
- Mathew Swanner came in 9th
- Holiday Napier finished 13th
- Easton Resendiz captured 16th
Meanwhile, the Purcell Girls made their mark with two archers in the top 20:
- Kate Feroli placed 12th
- Emery Bourassa placed 13th

The National Weather Service has advised that severe thunderstorms with the potential of high winds, flooding, lightning and a risk of tornadoes will come through our area between 4 a.m. to 9 a.m on Monday, November 18th. This is when we have students waiting at bus stops and parents dropping students off.
Out of an abundance of caution, the start of school day will be delayed until 10 a.m. Buses will run on this delayed schedule at 9 a.m.so please plan accordingly. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. Breakfast will be served as usual. Schools will release at normal dismissal time. Parents may also elect to have their student complete the day virtually. Thank you for your understanding and commitment to student and staff safety.
The final day of the JH CVC tournament is tonight. Our 7th and 8th grade Lady Dragons and our 8th grade Dragons are playing for 3rd place. At the same time, our 7th grade Dragons are in the Championship Game! See brackets and times. Good luck and Go Dragons!!
