Guidance for Purcell's JOM Program and the qualification of students are managed by the Chickasaw Nation.

The 2024 Student Legacy Plan includes several proposed security updates, including:
Constructing two storm shelters, one at the Elementary and one at the Intermediate
Constructing a FEMA storm shelter gymnasium at the Junior High
A new parking lot that will provide a bus loop for the Junior High

School supplies for students in Purcell's Johnson-O'Malley Program will be available for checkout on August 13 & 14 from 3pm to 7pm at the admin building (919 1/2 N. 9th). Students already qualified through the school are eligible, others will need the child's membership card for a federally recognized tribe or the child's CDIB card indicating a minimum 1/4 degree Indian blood.
