On Tuesday, the Purcell Cross Country team traveled to Sulphur. Jayden Polk won the race. Tripp Eck finished 10th. Other top runners were Cameron Coulter and Kori Doyal. The team travels to Edmond Santa Fe this Saturday. Girls start at 1:30 and Boys start at 2:00. Go Dragons!

Purcell's Indian Parent Committee (IPC) will meet on September 16 at 11:45 am in the Administration Bldg, 919 1/2 N. 9th. The meeting will cover selection of officers for the IPC, review of bylaws, and discussion of reading progress related to Title VI program services. The meeting is in Room 110 and open to the public.

With fall sports kicking off, this is a reminder of the security procedures for home athletic events. Security procedures include no re-entry at all gates, and additional police officers on duty. Additionally, students 8th grade or lower must be accompanied by an adult for entry. Friday's football game vs Lindsay starts at 7pm. Gates open at 5:30. Go Dragons!

Purcell Public Schools will hold an ESSER III Return to Learn and Use of Funds Meeting on September 5th at noon to discuss closing out the remaining ESSER funds. The meeting will be held at the Purcell Administration Building Board Room at 919 1/2 North 9th Avenue Purcell, OK.
