We were honored to receive a wonderful book donation from KJE, a nonprofit organization, for our library. The books were donated in memory of Mattox Jacob Young. The Young family delivered the books today, along with the KJE representative. Purcell Elementary and our Library are so very grateful for all the great books! Thank you KJE and the Mattox Jacob Young family!

Great dress up day today at PES! We rocked out Red Ribbon Week! ❤️🐲 Thank you parents for helping students dress up and celebrate Being kind to our minds and living drug free!

Tomorrow is Halloween Costume Day and our theme is Book Characters. Our main focus is to keep this with with light and friendly costumes with no fright. We can't wait to have fun with students and see what they choose.
Please remember that costumes need to be kept at a minimum to ensure that students can remove them easily for bathroom trips, recess, and PE. Sending a change of clothes in their backpack is a good idea because students often tire of wearing their costume all day. Thank you for helping us keep costumes to happy and friendly selections without blood, gore, or fright. Our focus at the elementary is the Book Characters.
Thank you for helping us celebrate Drug-Free week in a sweet, fun way!
