What a great night to be a Dragon as we celebrated our seniors with two big wins over Pauls Valley. A special thanks and recognition to our seniors and their families. We are thankful for all you have done for our school! One of my favorite moments was seeing so many of our future dragons attending the game and cheering and supporting our teams. It's a reminder to our students what an important role they play as mentors and role models. These senior classes have exceeded those expectations!
We would also like to recognize Leilani Hartleroad and Landon Ward for their amazing rendition of our National Anthem. Our cheerleaders and drumline were tremendous as always leading our fans and school spirit. A huge shout-out to our student section who have been the absolute best this season. And to Pride the Dragon who apparently has learned some dance moves recently!
Go Dragons!

These opportunities offer hands-on learning experiences , build confidence and teamwork, and develop lifelong appreciation of nature and the outdoors!

We had several senior leaders attend the Rural Electric Cooperative, Inc. Youth Leadership Summit last week. Students attending this year’s summit enjoyed a rewarding experience. The speaker this year presented an educational and motivational message. We appreciate this opportunity for our students.

Schedule correction: I mistakenly left off our FFA events from our weekly activity schedule. I've attached the corrected calendar (I'm so sorry FFA students and teachers!!!) But this also is an opportunity to highlight two big upcoming FFA events (LOCAL SHOW &
BONUS AUCTION) that I strongly encourage you to support. These are great events to attend:
The Purcell FFA and 4H students would like to invite you to come watch them at our annual local show and bonus auction coming up next week. These students put in a tremendous amount of work throughout the year. They have been competing all across the state and country, but this weekend they will be right here in Purcell showing and would love to see you in the stands!

PHS Weekly Activity Schedule: full week of basketball, archery state competition, and FCA Tuesday at lunch in the library.

Thank you to our PHS Cheer team, Pride the Dragon, and Coach Grant Gish for leading a great Pep Assembly Thursday. Aaron Dillard was a tremendous emcee and our Band and David Hilger were amazing as always! We celebrated our basketball, powerlifting, and archery teams. The juniors won the spirit stick and everyone had so much fun!
Go Dragons!

Grady is currently a freshman at Purcell High School. During his two years in FFA, he has participated in Livestock Judging, Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Public Speaking and numerous leadership development activities.
Great work Grady!

Yesterday at our pep assembly we recognized senior Parker Page. Parker is a remarkable young man and exceptional leader in our school. We celebrated Parker's recent Congressional appointment and acceptance to the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. Additionally, later this spring we will recognize Parker's signing with the Navy Track & Field Team. We are incredibly proud of Parker and his decision to serve his country.
