Last night, our slow-pitch team hosted Blanchard and Tecumseh. Girls beat Blanchard 5-3 but fall short 10-2 against Tecumseh. They travel to Dale today to face off with Dale at 5 and Harrah at 6:30.


High School baseball went to Lexington last night and got the district win 10-5. They play Lexington tonight at home. First pitch is at 5.

PHS Tennis had a good day at the Mustang JV Tourney. Both #1 & #2 girl's doubles teams earned two wins and the #1 boy's doubles team won twice. Great job PHS Tennis & Coach Krysta Matthews! #godragons

ROAD WEEK 23 was a success! Thanks to everyone that helped make this week possible, especially the StuCo Sponsors and Officers. Pruitts for the cases of water, Char Page for the shirts, Tina Swayze and the Intermediate for hosting the carnival Monday, Zac Keely for the car to smash, all the donations for the raffle, all the teachers and staff that helped out yesterday. Thank you Kaden Pliler and Christian Kirk for the musical intro yesterday.

Parker Davidson and Healthcorp partnered with A New Leash On Life, a nonprofit that trains service and therapy dogs. Students enjoyed playing with and learning about these certified therapy dogs, who are specifically trained to reduce anxiety in people. We love dogs!!



PHS Student of the month: Kaylee Morrow. Kaylee's parents are Billy Morrow & Amanda Christie, Activities: Band, FCCLA, NTHS, and Criminal Justice @ MATC. Honors: Letter P for 3 years. Favorite class: criminal justice. Kaylee plans to attend OCCC and pursue law degree eventually.


Cooper Smith: PHS Student of the Month. Cooper's parent is Kelly Smith. Honors include Letter P Award, FFA Work-Horse Award, Principal Honor Roll, 2022 Art Award, U.S. History Award. Cooper's favorite class is FFA with Erica Keen. Cooper plans to work in agriculture after HS.


I loved the kickoff for ROAD week this year. PHS STUCO under the leadership of sponsors Krysta Matthews and Emma Rolin held a carnival at PHS Intermediate. Great opportunities for service learning, mentorship, and building leadership skills for our students. #dragonpride #oklaed





Powerlifting had a very successful season. Congratulations to Rowan, Adam, and Jose for placing at regionals. They have punched their ticket to participate at powerlifting state. State meet will be held at El Reno HS on Saturday March 11th.
