Great job PHS Academic Team! They defeated Tuttle to win the Regional Championship! We are very proud of this team and coach Jasmine Quinonez. Next up is conference tourney on 12-1 and Area Tournament on 1-14-22. Keep up the hard work Dragons!

Today we celebrated our high school cheer team with a hall walk. They got to walk with the band as well as our junior high cheerleaders. The cheer squad was surprised by several football players with flowers to show them support. Gameday state is tomorrow at Moore HS. Their performance tomorrow will be at 12:10 at Moore High School. Go Dragons!

Congratulations to Purcell senior softball player Lauren Holmes. Lauren had her college signing today with Rose State College where she will be attending on a softball scholarship. Great job Lauren, Mom and Dad (Jennifer and Matt) and Coach Sarah Jones. We are proud of you!




On behalf of our National Honor Society please join us this Friday as we honor our Veterans both past and present at the annual Purcell High School Veterans Day Assembly. This is a special day and we are honored to pay tribute to our veterans. It begins promptly at 11 AM


Congratulations Zach Idlett: PHS Student of the Month. Zach is the son of Brandi & Darren Idlett. He is active in STUCO and National Honor Society and plays baseball and runs X-Country. He is a member of Superintendent's Honor Roll. Academic State Champion Team and a 3 year Letter P recipient. His favorite class is Calculus and he plans to pursue a business degree in college.


Congratulations to our November PHS Student of the Month: Allison Schlotthauer
Allison is the daughter of Roger & Sarah Schlotthauer. She is a two-year Drum Major for the Band, runs cross-country, and active in National Honor Society and PHS Leadership program. Her favorite class is Calculus and she is a 3 year Letter P recipient and member of the Superintendent's Honor Roll.
She plans to attend college after high school and eventually fly planes for the airlines.

Good luck PHS Cheer @ Game Day State. Please see links below for spirit bus sign-up & to purchase tickets. Please note the performance is scheduled for 2:50 PM on Sat. We will hold a send-off celebration Fri @ 8:45 AM in the high school commons. Parents are welcome to attend.


PJS and PHS Choir will present a Country Comedy Hour @ 3PM today in the auditorium in the old junior high. Doors open @ 3 and this is a fundraiser for our Choir Program. $5 at the door for adults. Students are free. I had opportunity to watch them rehearse this week. Fun stuff!


Congratulations to PHS Cheer for qualifying for STATE @ Gameday Regionals today. The cheerleaders and coaches have been working so hard this year. We are very proud of you! Go Dragons!

Our cheerleading squad will perform at Gameday Regional today. It is being hosted at Crossing Christian School. The girls are set to take the mat at 2:05. Good luck ladies!


Thursday was such a great day for our seniors. We had a very fun pep assembly. Cheer put on their gameday routine, kids played musical chairs, and our HOCO King FINALLY got his crown. Thursday night we had our senior night ceremony, band seniors performed their last time at Conger, and the football team got a 35-0 win over Comanche. Congratulations to all our seniors! Go Dragons!





PHS STUCO Food drive was a success! Seniors won with 904 points, Sophs 678, Juniors 363 and Fresh 105. Over 1200 items were donated that will go to Operation Christmas and Dragon Food Pantry for local families this holiday season. It's a great day to be a Dragon!
