Jaxson Staggs recently placed 11th in the tractor driving contest at the Tulsa State Fair out of 41 contestants. Students have to take a safety test and then drive 2 different timed courses. Very impressive Jaxson! I can barely drive my push mower in straight lines!

We were thrilled to kick-off our student driven healthy habits campaign at PHS this year. Awareness campaigns are most effective when led by student leaders. A huge thanks to Jeanae and Aisha, field organizers from TSET, for their focus on tobacco prevention and teenage obesity.

PHS Leadership class conducted mock interviews today. This program has been such a great addition to our school and I appreciate the hard work of Krysta Matthews. This is a great example of the type of "soft skills" all of our students need for college and career readiness.
