Our Purcell FFA program is working hard throughout the summer. Check out their summer schedule. Students recently attended 3 days of Livestock judging camp. Erica Keen, not surprisingly, is doing great things with this program!
PHS Athletic Training Coordinator Cole Harwell works throughout the year to support the development of PHS athletes. Working with Cole the last two years, I've been impressed with his focus on both the mental and physical aspect of athlete development. Go Dragons!
Great high school programs are reflected by the enthusiasm at the younger grades. Huge turnouts for PHS Baseball and Softball summer youth camps. Including over 110 young dragons at the PHS Grit Don't Quit Softball camp. Go Dragons! Great job Coaches Sarah Jones and Cole Sharp.

PHS athletes hard @ work already this week. Spring football camp in full swing and over 140 young Dragons attend Boys and Girls little kids camp this week. A huge thanks to coaches across every sport who put in countless hours of work over the summer months. Go Dragons!
Foreign exchange students can add so much to high school culture but Xander Springael took it to a whole new level: Kicker in football, prom king, state track qualifier, and a memorable pep rally speech.
