Congratulations Kenzie Hay: PHS Staff Member of the Month! Kenzie is a Special Education and Math teacher at PHS. She is also the special education department chair. Kenzie is always positive and friendly with everyone she encounters. She is a true advocate for her students and a leader in our school. Kenzie treats everyone with respect and works well with students, staff, and parents alike. Kenzie is a true asset to Purcell High School!

Kelly Anderson: PHS Student of the Month!
Kelly is the daughter of Jamie & Kregg Anderson. She is active in softball and National Honor Society. She is a member of the Superintendent's Honor Roll and Letter P Award Winner. Her favorite class is English and she plans to attend Ft. Lewis College in Colorado and obtain a degree in Psychology & Criminology.

Dragons fall to Coweta tonight 55-51 in game 2 of The Mother Road Classic. Both teams will be back in action tomorrow starting at noon, with the Lady Dragons facing Verdigris for the Consolation Championship and the Dragons taking on Wagoner at 5:00 for 3rd place. GO DRAGONS!


Good attendance is one of the strongest predictors of student success after high school. Attendance Matters! We are proud of the following students for achieving PERFECT ATTENDANCE for the entire 1st Semester. I also want to thank Aaron Dillard, Dean of Students, and Candy Tuck, Attendance Clerk, for their hard work supporting student attendance.


Rose Allen: PHS Student of the Month
Rose is the daughter of Jenny Allen-Price & Eric Price. She is involved in Music Theater, Choir, Academic Team, Spanish Club, FCCLA, YAHL, and is the President of Key Club. She is a certified YNA Peer Mentor. Her favorite class is Music Theater with Cindy Donaldson. She plans to attend OU and major in Elementary Education or Theater.
