Thursday night was a beautiful evening for football and a great opportunity to honor America's veterans and those who serve our country. Our football team came up short but we were proud of their effort. Dragon Pride Marching Band performed for the final time and joined with the Washington band to perform the national anthem. Sophomore Kaden Pliler performed before the game. We honored football, cross-country, band, and cheer seniors and parents. Thank you to Goldsby Construction and Sheehy Signs for presenting our local American Legion with a generous donation. #phsdragons

Purcell Dragon Pride Marching Band had a great performance last night in Claremore at the OBA State Marching Contest. In prelims they placed 11th out of 23 and won "High Visual" in 2A. In the finals they jumped 3 spots (very uncommon) to finish 8th overall and 2ND IN CLASS 2A! Congratulations Band students, director David Hilger, assistant director Jacob Willing, and our amazing band parents and volunteers. These students work so hard throughout the year and we are incredibly proud of how they represent our school and community! I've included pics from their performance Thursday night @ Conger Field. #phsdragons

What a fun and exciting two days it has been at Firelake Ballfields for softball state. The crowd has been electric, and the girls are playing so well. Today, they win over Blanchard 9-0 to advance to the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!!! We are so incredibly proud of the girls and coaches who have worked so hard to get here. Tomorrow's championship game will be played at Marita Hynes Field on the campus of OU at 12. You can park across the street at Reeves Park, or you can park just South of the stadium. Attached is a map to show areas for parking. Please see the attached "Carry In" policy for tomorrow's game. The only bags allowed are clear bags. There are several items prohibited such as signs, flags, strollers, chairback seats, and ALL noise makers. Tickets are already for sell on GoFan. Please make sure you purchase tickets for Day 3 of the State Tournament. Let's bring the noise as our Lady Dragons play to bring home the GOLD!! Go Dragons!
