🏹🎯This week, 4th and 5th graders continued archery in PE! Students are now experiencing the thrill of archery, learning concentration, discipline, and technique. It's not just a sport—it's a test of mental and physical ability! 💪 🌟 From bullseyes to improving aim, this unit is all about honing skills, fostering teamwork, and building confidence in a unique and challenging way. 🌟 Congratulations to Hailey Ramirez and Coulter West! They had the top scores in 5th grade today! 3rd graders worked together to feed the reindeer practicing throwing, tossing, and catching! 🦌🌲

Thank you to our fabulous PTO for the delicious Thanksmas meal today!!! We are so blessed to have such supportive parents, and it was just what we needed the last few days before winter break! You are the BEST!!!

In PE, we are learning about archery using the National Archery in Schools Program. We are making string bows and learning the 11 steps to archery success! The students have also practiced the whistle commands and range safety.

NOVEMBER GLOW DAY CELEBRATION
Thank you to Purcell PTO, Bunny's Bakery and Wal Mart for providing us with what we need!
BIG THANKS to all of the Glow Day volunteers that make this time special for all of these kids.
#ItsYourGlowDay

Today has been a great day! Collaboration teams within a grade level, cross curricular and across the district met and strategized on ways to improve instructional practices, create new learning experiences and formulate ways to support and encourage the whole child! We believe that all students can learn and achieve big things!

The Purcell Intermediate staff kicked off their virtual day with a little teambuilding fun in the gym! NITROBALL is a collaboration of four square, pickleball, and volleyball! Cooperation and communication is a MUST! Teams voted on players from other teams who exhibited IGNITE characteristics such as sportsmanship, positivity, integrity, and enthusiasm! #dragonpride #ignite #oklaed #hsok #teamworkmakesthedreamwork

Celebrate the Holidays and Support After Prom!
After Prom is an important event that is 100% organized and facilitated by parent volunteers. This event provides a safe environment for students to celebrate Prom Night. Please help support this important high school event for our students.

It's been all about Gratitude this week in PE! We've been playing OPEN's Gratitude Games including Tossin' Turkeys, Stuff the Turkey, Thanksgiving Feast Fitness Stations, and Gratitude Toss! We loved sharing all the things for which we are grateful! Students worked cooperatively, worked on throwing skills, and did some interval training! We love all the new equipment provided to us by Healthy Schools Oklahoma: beanbags, scooters, cones, and healthy heroes just to name a few! Thank you to HSOK and Bethany Children's Center!🏃🏽🥧🦃💪🏼😋🤎🧡❤️🐉 #gratitudegames #open #oklaed #hsok #perocks
