5th grade students performed their Christmas program tonight, and it was a wonderful success! Thank you, Mrs. Carlson, for your hard work in preparing our students for their performance! We had a big crowd in attendance, and the Christmas carols put us all in the holiday spirit!




Today’s theme was “Sweater Weather!” Wednesday is winter hat day! Be sure to wear your beanies, Santa Hats, Elf Ears, or Reindeer antlers!

The Intermediate School was evacuated today for precautionary reasons due to a potential gas leak. The Fire Department gave the all clear to return to building.

We are wearing red, white, and blue or camouflage tomorrow, November 11th, to honor our veterans!

Thank you to all of our student body for contributing to the Holiday Food Drive! Our students donated 1,274 items!! These donations will support the efforts of McClain County Operation Christmas as well as Lil Dragon Food Pantry.
The winner of our food drive challenge is the 5th grade with a total of 465 items! They will receive an ice cream bar at lunch on Thursday. Fourth grade brought 447 items, and third grade brought 362 items.
Thank you to K-Kids and Mrs. Moreno for making posters as well as counting and boxing up all of the donations.
We would also like to give a BIG shoutout to Ms. Norman for all her hard work and dedication in organizing and putting on our holiday food drive!

Bring your canned food items to school this week for our annual holiday food drive! The grade level that brings the most will receive a surprise!
