2022-23 FAFSA Now Available
The 2022-23 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is here!
This year students can access the FAFSA by visiting StudentAid.gov or by using the myStudentAid mobile app. The FAFSA should be completed as soon as possible after Oct. 1 to ensure priority consideration for some types of financial aid. It is best to gather all necessary materials before starting the FAFSA. Since the 2022-23 FAFSA allows applicants to use 2020 tax information, families can use their 2020 return to complete the application right away! There's no need to wait.
To complete and submit the FAFSA online, students and one of their parents/guardians, will each need to create an FSA ID (Federal Student Aid ID) at StudentAid.gov. This username/password serves as an electronic signature on the FAFSA and certain student loan applications, and allows users to access other federal student aid websites. It is beneficial for families to create their FSA IDs before starting the FAFSA to speed up the application process. Visit UCanGo2.org to download an FSA ID Worksheet (in English and Spanish) to keep track of your information.
For more information and FAFSA resources, including educational tools and tutorial videos in English and Spanish, visit StartWithFAFSA.org.

Purcell JOM Parent Committee Meeting
September 14 at 6:00 p.m.
Administration Building

The district has been informed this afternoon that bottled water will not be available in cafeterias after Tuesday. Our supplier is diverting stock to Hurricane Ida victims. Students may always select milk or utilize the bottle filler water fountains found in their building.

JH Lady Dragons came up a little short tonight against Lexington losing 1-0. Nevertheless, we are proud of their fight and finish. Pitcher Lili DelToro and the defense behind her allowed just 1 base runner after the 1st inning! Good job girls! #dragonpride

Thank you Dragons!! It has been a great week of school! Just a reminder that school will be out for Labor Day- Monday, September 6th. Have a safe holiday and see you Tuesday!

What floats your boat? Mr. Wollenberg’s 6th grade STEM class designed their own boats to hold washers using a piece of foil. Their designs were amazing and 1 boat even held 26 washers! Great job students and Mr. Wollenberg!

Thank you Purcell First Baptist Church for the great lunch for all of our staff and the great prizes given away this morning! We appreciate your support and we love that our community loves us!

Thank you Purcell Schools Foundation for the great breakfast, grant awards, and prizes given to the staff this morning! We love your support and appreciate you very much!
