We would like to give a HUGE shout out to Pruitt Investments for their contribution in helping us house our Missoula Children's Theatre directors for the week in one of their new Airbnb cabins here in Purcell. We are so thankful for their continued support of Purcell Schools and thankful for their help with making this project a success.

So far, kindergarten has 41 miles, first grade ran 100 miles, and 2nd grade ran 187 miles. That's 329 miles all together!!! That's amazing!!! Way to go Dragons!!

With 18 years of dedicated service, Sharie’s passion for teaching shines through every day. As a second-grade teacher, she approaches each lesson with genuine joy and an unwavering commitment to her students’ growth, treating them like cherished family members. Her warm, nurturing spirit and creative teaching methods have inspired countless young minds, ensuring that learning is both fun and meaningful.
Beyond her classroom, Sharie’s life is enriched by her loving family. Married to Kerry Wilhoit and together they have raised two wonderful children, Klaire and Karter. It was a sweet treat for SIL Amye from Alma's to help in this special delivery! 💐🩷

Our second graders have read 1,227,370 words!! That's a great accomplishment!

Today is the day! Missoula auditions for Alice in Wonderland are today at 3:30! Students wishing to audition must stay for the full 2 hour audition and must be available throughout the week for rehearsals and performances on Friday and Saturday. All students K-12 are welcome to audition. Auditions and rehearsals will all be held at the Old Junior High located at 201 Lester Lane. Audition permission slips will be available at audition sign ins. We look forward to seeing you all there!

First Grade completed their reading challenge by reading 1,353 books from March 3 to March 13! We are so very proud of all of First Grade, we will be celebrating Friday! Our top readers from each class was Addison Walker, Campbell Cunningham, Drew Gulledge, Kenley Creswell, and not pictured Brooks Carr. Way to go First Grade!

Don't forget Missoula Children's Theatre residency week is THIS week, March 24th-29th. Auditions will be held Monday, March 24th from 3:30-5:30pm at the Old Junior High. Auditions are open to all students Kindergarten-12th grade. Parents, please make prior arrangements to get your student to auditions. We are SO excited for this week and look forward to seeing all our Dragons who come to auditions. Permission slips will be available at auditions if needed.

Purcell Public School is contracted with Keystone for our food service. Keystone is honoring National School Breakfast Week. They conducted a coloring contest. The winner is First Grader, Nicole Ramos Jaquez! Nice job!

There has been a LOT of running going on at Purcell Elementary School. The mile club just keeps growing and growing. We now also have students in the 5 mile club! The mile clubs are an optional activity that students can participate in during PE in which they run laps around the gym to reach a mile. Student-Led Conferences are this week Tuesday and Thursday 3:30-7:00 at PES. Our students are so excited to show you all they've learned! ❤️🐲📚🍪 Kona Ice will be on site for a sweet treat!
