We are highlighting this month the accomplishments of several Black Oklahomans in the education field. Ada Lois Sipuel Fisher helped pave the way for national desegregation when she became the first Black student admitted to the OU College of Law. Read more about her amazing story:

Congratulations Michael O'Neal: PHS Staff Member of the Month: please read a tribute to Michael from one of his colleagues:
Oneal is the perfect example of what an upper level teacher is supposed to be. He has very high expectations for his students, he holds them accountable, and he has excellent classroom management. He has a classroom where rigor is expected and enforced. He has a passion for engaging young minds. He continues his mentorship after they graduate as well. Over the years I have seen numerous former students that are enrolled in college classes that return for his tutoring, guidance, and mentorship.
Thank you Jason Bridwell and State Farm for sponsoring.
