Attendance is so important! We would like to recognize the students who had PERFECT attendance for the 1st semester. Way to go DRAGONS 🐉 ❤️

In PE, one of our focuses is on nutrition and making healthy choices. A couple of weeks ago we received our tower garden from HSOK! We planted our seeds, learned how to maintain it, and now we’re observing the growth of arugula, lettuce, and kale. The students are excited about growing our own food in the gym! When it’s ready to harvest, we will have a tasting party! #hsok #towergarden #perocks #healthy #ignite

Today we want to recognize are our wonderful paraprofessionals! 💚🍀 thank you Robin, Felicia, Brandy, Jessica, Kayla, Kelly, Claudia, and Sheri! You do an amazing job! Your smile, love for kids and commitment to our school is something truly special! We truly are blessed with the best!

Pucell Public Schools will be closed Friday, February 25th due to slick conditions caused by the inclement weather. If there are any changes to the playoff basketball schedule or state wrestling schedule, we will communicate it as soon as we know.
Our third graders performed “Awesome Animals” on Tuesday, and they did a fantastic job! Thank you to everyone who came out to support our students! The costumes were amazing, and we want to give a special shoutout to Lauren Melvin and Dana Ferguson for making extras!

Purcell Public Schools will be closed and activities canceled on Thursday, February 24th due to inclement weather. Stay safe.
In PE, we played a game called Pyramid Battle! Students rolled the dice, multiplied the two factors together, and whoever had the highest product moved on to the next level. The student with the lower product jogged a lap around the gym and returned to the same level! We got lots of exercise and practice on our multiplication facts! #perocks #oklaed #ignite

Our fourth grade students performed “Feeling Good”, a music 🎶 program about healthy living! They have been learning new songs while incorporating dance and exercise. Thank you, Mrs. Carlson, fourth grade teachers, and students for all your hard work on making this program a wonderful success! #feelinggood #hsok #ignite

Jersey Day today!!! Team Up with Kindness!!!

Purcell Intermediate KINDNESS Week
The Great Kindness Challenge
Purcell Intermediate is proudly participating in The Great Kindness Challenge, a week-long program dedicated to creating a culture of kindness and compassion in communities worldwide.
To help our students practice kindness, they will receive a Great Kindness Challenge Checklist. We encourage all students to complete as many acts of kindness as possible. The kind acts focus on key kindness concepts: caring, respect, gratitude, and inclusiveness. We have also scheduled the following dress up days to celebrate our week of kindness. Together, we will lift each other up, cheer each other on and show this world that KINDNESS MATTERS!

This week in PE, we have been doing all things related to the Super Bowl! We have played Touchdown Tag, Capture the Football, and Endzone Trappers! Today we did Super Bowl Stations to wrap up our football unit! #perocks #ignite #dragonpride #hsok
