We are counting down the days until Thanksgiving Break but first...basketball! The 7th/8th/9th Lady Dragons are hosting Lindsay tonight in The Reimer Center and will be streamed live via NFHSnetwork. Our Dragons are on the road in Leopard Arena! In both places, 7th grade starts at 5pm with 8th and 9th following.

Great day to be a Dragon! Our 7th grade Lady Dragons and 8th grade Dragons are Canadian Valley Conference Tournament CHAMPS! Our 7th grade Dragons received a Runner-Up plaque and our 8th grade Lady Dragons finished fourth. It was a great way to kick to off the 2022-2023 Basketball Season.
They will be back in action next Tuesday, the 15th, against Lindsey with the boys on the road and girls at home.

Championship Thursday for our Dragons and Lady Dragons tonight! Our 7th/8th-grade boys and our 7th-grade girls will play in the CHAMPIONSHIP games of the Canadian Valley Conference Tournament tonight.
In Marlow, our 7th-grade Dragons start at 6:40 with the 8th-grade following. Our 8th-grade Lady Dragons will play for 3rd place at 5:35 in The Reimer Center, with the 7th-grade following for the CHAMPIONSHIP game! It is a great night for some basketball!

It’s a busy week for our 7th/8th grade girls and boys basketball teams as they kick off the season with The Canadian Valley Conference Tournament, that started Monday night. The girls tournament is being held in The Reimer Center and Boney Matthews Field-house. The boys tournament is hosted in Marlow.
It was a winning night for all four squads Monday! Girls will play tonight, Tuesday, against Lindsay starting with the 7th grade at 6:30 with 8th grade following in the Reimer Center. 7th boys will play at 4:30 and 8th boys at 6:45. All games held in The Reimer Center are live streamed via NFHSnetwork

The combined Purcell JH and HS choirs will present their Country Comedy Hour tomorrow, Nov. 6th at 3:00 in the auditorium at the old JH. Admission is $5 for adults and students are free. Be ready to sing along to some country music and laugh at some country humor. Doors open at 2:30PM. Come join us!

Flu shots tomorrow! The Chickasaw Nation Health Department will be at the JH from 9-11 AM offering free flu shots for all staff and students. Students must have a signed consent form to receive an immunization. Forms are available in the office and were emailed out yesterday.
We appreciate our cheerleaders, Coach Angie Wren, and helper Grant Gish. They are a hardworking, talented, and energized team. Great halftime performance tonight and one of their own, Anna Ray Berger sang the national anthem before the game. Way to go Anna, you were fantastic!
Our 7th & 8th Football teams combined tonight and had a big win over the Lexington Bulldogs 28-8! Congratulations guys! Both teams will play @ Washington next Tuesday for their final game of the season. Go Dragons!
Dragons win!!!! Our 8th grade football team defeated the Pauls Valley Panthers tonight 16-6. The 7th grade team fell short in the first game but played hard and competed the whole game. Congratulations and good job players and coaches! #dragon pride

Softball beats the Bulldogs! In a shortened game, the Lady Dragons pitched well, played good defense, and had some fantastic hits! Congratulations to the players and coaches on their 15-3 win! Good luck at Meeker tomorrow, keep it going!
